-                     The collection and organization of the research activities of its members, in order the presents this activities local, Arabic and the international scientific media. This goal can be achieved by the following steps:

a)                     State a scientific links with all Iraqi ministries in order to understand their engineering and scientific problems. This can help to introduce the committee members to solve such problem from their experience.

b)                      The development of the scientific and the practical level of the researchers in the working in the government states throughout training courses, summer schools and conferences.

c)                      Presenting the problems arising in the governmental activities to the Iraqi universities and the research centers to the studied as projects to the graduate students.

d)                      The committee cooperates with the Arabian scientific groups, research centers and university through the conference, workshops, and visiting groups. This database will be available to the companies and organization going to be working in the reconstruction programs in Iraq, in order to contact the proper persons or activity.

e)                      Classification and organization of the scientific publication of the academic members, and distribute this publication in the Arabic and neighbor universities. This can help both sides to cooperate easily through the scientific activities.

f)                        The development of a communication network with most of the Arabian universities and the universities in the boarder countries. This can help the members to contact the up date works in their fields.

g)                      Distribution the time tables and subjects of most conferences, summer schools and workshops inside and outside the country for all members. This can make the contribution to these activities so easy.
